The purpose of the Kingsland Foundation is to support programs that provide equitable access to educational and job ready opportunities that enable individuals and communities to develop the technical skills necessary to survive and thrive in a digitized world.
Traditional education models are failing; many full four-year university programs and other tertiary schools are no longer providing the skills education needed to pursue job opportunities in a tech-driven economy. Kingsland supports programs that provide an alternative to traditional full-time university study and that give students access to in-demand skills and jobs in growth markets.
Our objectives are to:
- break down barriers to technical skills education for socially disadvantaged and marginalized peoples, especially women and youth;
- champion leading-edge blockchain and coding programs in underserved and underprivileged regions of the world;
- provide opportunities for individuals to transform their lives and communities through education, for the benefit of current and future generations.
