The Kingsland Mission
We live in a world where technology now rules education.
While the digital age has heralded an era of extraordinary opportunity, accessing these opportunities continues to be a challenge for many socially disadvantaged and marginalized peoples. As we sheperd new generations to steward the planet in this hyperconnected, digital world, we’re conscious of the ever-growing gap between those with and without access to technology. The impact of this gap will reverberate through families, communities and countries for generations to come.
Kingsland University’s programs are designed to close this gap by providing equitable access to courses that teach fundamental and necessary skills for surviving and thriving in a digitized world. We offer a geo-located pricing model so that students in Bangladesh can access the same course offered in Boston for a cost relative to the economy they live in. We work with other tertiary institutions and governments around the world to subsidize course fees and offer scholarships to promising students in emerging economies. Our incentivized learning model gives students the chance to ‘earn while they learn’, with high achieving students able to reduce the cost of their digital technology learning to zero.
We understand that as technology progresses, more young people can potentially be left behind.
The goal of Kingsland University is to make sure NOBODY is left behind.
