The Kingsland University Honour Code

Kingsland University is an academic community devoted to the creation and expansion of knowledge in innovative fields. The students and faculty that comprise Kingsland’s intellectual network understand that integrity is the basis for scholastic discovery, independent academic achievement, and productive collaboration. Honesty and integrity should thus guide us in representation of our work and in all interactions with teachers, advisers, peers, and students.

Members of the Kingsland University community vow to act with integrity in the production of all academic works by adhering to the scholarly and intellectual standards of accurate attribution of sources, appropriate collection of data and the responsible use of that data, and transparent acknowledgement of the contributions of others to one’s ideas, discoveries, interpretations, and conclusions. Cheating on exams, practical projects or problem sets, plagiarizing or misrepresenting the ideas or language of someone else as one’s own, falsifying data, or any other instance of academic dishonesty is distinctly contrary to the Kingsland standards of academic and professional excellence.
