Diversity in Technology.
Kingsland is redefining the way men and women work together in the technology field. If we are to evolve, we must have the input of both genders equally in the workplace. Kingsland is committed to having 25,000 female graduates by the year 2025.
In addition to gender initiatives, Kingsland is fostering new diversity programs for the underprivileged and is positioned to be the new source of technology education in developing countries.
Current programs:
Developing market talent development via scholarships, job oriented training, and career services.
- In the Philippines, and specifically in Iloilo, which is a second tier city (we avoided the over crowded Manila & Cebu which already has a strong tech industry), we trained recent graduates in blockchain development on a full-time basis through scholarships and even provided stipends. After the 2 month program, we hired a third and placed most of the remaining graduates.
- For those we hired (into our Kingsland Innovation Center PH), they were provided above market compensation and have been able to work on global blockchain projects from US, Australia, Puerto Rico, etc.
Women in tech support
- In the Philippines, specifically Bacolod, KU provided partial scholarships for a seven month programming program for women. Kingsland University also delivered seminars on blockchain and provided access to female professional software developers to serve as role models.
Greater access to quality education internationally via SCHOLARSHIPS for:
- Blockchain developer program in Bulgaria, Korea, Australia (& PH per above)
- Programming education (Kingsland Coders) in Philippines
- Blockchain Executive Education in Antigua, USA, Australia
